Notion Ink Adam Iii Design And Usability

Powered by NVIDIA's Tegra Dual core processor and with ample memory and touch screen, the Notion Ink Adam 111 is expected to be one of this year's gadgets that will bring about revolutionary technologies and lots of mind boggling features.

The most attractive feature of the Notion Ink Adam is the Pixel Qi display which acts as a regular LCD or as an e-book reader. It offers a color display that can be used to run music when the backlighting is turned on and when turned off, a screen is visible in direct light conditions and it needs low amount of energy to work.

The tablet offers up to 16 hours of battery life and up to 160 hours when on backlight off mode. It uses the operating system Android, Ubuntu and Chrome. To browse, the software that can be used with this device is Firefox or chrome both of which support Adobe Flash 10.1.

It has 3 USB ports and a video output resolution of 1080 pixels. With it comes a 3 mega pixel camera, a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, sensors and accelerometers and an SD card slot. Even with all these features the Notion Ink Adam 111 weighs less than 1kg and has a thickness of 14mm.

In terms of usability, the Notion Ink Adam 111 can be used for multitasking and comes with excellent browsing capabilities. It is faster making it easier and smoother to change between pages. The user is able to select the operating system on their own as it comes with three OS platforms. The high battery life makes it appropriate for users at different locations, hence does not necessarily need power connection. You can easily read E-Books with this gadget as well. The only downside of this device is that it will be expensive ranging from $327 to $800 once they hit the market probably in June or July.
